Cook does not keep inventory of the fuel racks. Owned by our Rx Fuel Engineers. If we have anything that would need to be tied off we would control that with a locking device and a unique lock and key logged on a survey. If it is in the fuel cell they own it.

Currently our RX engineering department has an inventory of SNM and non-fuel items stored in fuel racks in the SFP. We have a requirement in one of RP procedures to keep an inventory of stored radioactive materials in the SFP for non-fuel radioactive material. I know the intent of this, I am in conflict with the way the procedure is worded and the requirements that are in there. If anyone has a procedure that is requires RP to keep track of the non-fuel radioactive material in the spent fuel pool. Vogtle would much appreciate if you could share it with us.
