At Davis-Besse, radiography is considered High risk. There is a caveat in our Determination of Radiological Risk procedure that state it “MAY be reduced to medium radiological risk if conducted in a controlled area, such as a vault specifically designed for this activity”. I have yet to see this caveat used for any radiography performed here.
