[Global] [EXTERNAL] 2021 RP-ALARA Winter Meeting Communication -Reply Requested

Currently our companies policy is that travel is restricted and would require VP approval for any work related trip and it needs to be business essential.  I think that this would not be an easy sell to senior leadership.

I would be interested in a virtual meeting however at site is difficult to accomplish since there will be multiple interruption, I would have to work from home if my management would let that happen.

To the members of the RP-ALARA Association

It is my sincere hope that this communication finds each of you and your families in good health. Preparations are underway for our 2021 Winter Meeting but with the understanding that the COVID-19 public health issue continues to impact each of us and our stations. Due to this continuing issue, the RP-ALARA Steering Board is requesting your current thoughts as to whether you are considering attending, and whether your station will permit your travel, to attend the Winter Meeting. The Winter Meeting is scheduled for January 25th - 27th, 2021. We recently contacted the Marriot Key West Beachside Hotel which is hosting the meeting and found that the facility is open and has implemented the appropriate safety measure for us to conduct the meeting in a safe manner.

If it is determined that we are not able to conduct the meeting in person would you consider participating in a virtual meeting. Your timely answers to the following questions are appreciated and will play an important part on the Steering Board's decision.

Can you attend the Jan 25-27, 2021 meeting?  yes   no   maybe
If not, why?

Would you attend a virtual meeting?  yes   no   maybe
If not, why?

Please reply by September 30th.
