[Global] Benchmark on FIN self briefing work

Callaway is interested in if any plants allow Fin type tool pouch work to be conducted in the RCA without RP assessing the jobs?


The process currently:
Fin Supervisor calls to RP and requests that an RWP be assigned to a specific job.
RP looks at job and assigns an RWP to the job in our work control program.
Fin maintenance reports to the access point to sign into the RCA and work the job with the assigned RWP.

Our FIN group would like to not call RP to get the RWP assigned and just use the generic FIN RWP and be responsible for knowing the conditions at the work site and the RWP requirements.

Any information that you have on this would be appreciated.
