TVA Sequoyah uses the following per our procedure:

Evaluate dose reduction initiatives at the following cost equivalents, based on INPO
Collective Radiation Exposure (CRE) Quartile rankings:
1. 1st Quartile: $25,000 per one rem
2. 2nd Quartile: $50,000 per one rem
3. 3rd Quartile: $75,000 per one rem
4. 4th Quartile: $100,000 per one rem

Does your station use a standard value for the cost of a Rem of exposure?  I would assume it’s worth more for higher CRE plants than for lower CRE plants.  Is the value proceduralized? What is worth to reduce exposure by one Rem at your station?
