A few years back Robinson Nuclear plant investigated replacing its NaOH based CV Spray system with another system for mitigating high airborne iodine during an accident. I believe the nickname for the replacement was called something with "hockey puck" in it. Does anyone know of a plant that has replaced their NaOH Containment Spray system with some alternative that does not require spraying NaOH inside containment during an emergency??
Thank you for any help you can provide.
