What process do you have in place to reduce dose rates?

During normal operations:
1. Reduce filter pore size during normal operation.
2. Adjusted pH/zinc control
3. 50.59 Tech Spec screenings for remain-in-place shielding/scaffold structures

Outages:
1. Forced oxygenation (30% H2O2)
2. Shielding applications of various types:
	a.  Lead bricks
	b.  Lead blankets (High/Normal temp)
	c.  Liquid lead panels are available (we don't have these)
	d.  Silflex blankets
	e.  Tungsten curtains (high activity items).  Tungsten blankets are available for less or equivalent weight of lead.
3. Enhanced briefings/remote monitoring for higher activity jobs

Ours also has some elevated dose rates.  I like the peroxide idea.  Maybe I could see if I could get permission to try it out.  Followed by a good clean flush after 30 minutes or so...?

Monticello's Chemistry Sample drainline dose rates keeps increasing. Because of lack of supports, minimum shielding approved and the drain line configuration (lots of 90 degree angles) hydrolasing isn't successful.

What process do you have in place to reduce dose rates?
Do you use any chemical decon? Use H2O2?
