Hi Kevin,

We use tungsten impregnated Silflex shielding for our Holtec HI-TRAC cask work:

- Shield bell, tungsten/neutron blankets hung on a circular ring on a support stand in the low dose rate are, then lifted to the top of the HI-TRAC

- MPC lid "pizza slices" with tungsten/neutron shielding to put over the annulus, neutron only for the centre of the lid

- Silflex tungsten/neutron blankets for the top of our MPC when a person needs to step over the annulus onto the MPC lid to remove the MPC lifting trunnion bolts

We have tungsten T-Flex "snakes" based upon the Braidwood design for our MPC annulus area, very effective. These are from NPO.

We also use standard high temp lead wool blankets to move around when needed to support work over the MPC/HI-TRAC; we do additional tasks compared to standard MPCs including lid to shell milling and UT of the LTS weld.

All shielding is shown here: https://www.isoe-network.net/docs/symposium-proceedings-classification/job-experiences/dry-cask-storage-1/4012-parlone2018-ppt-2/file.html

And I can make an ALARA report with the shielding effectiveness available to you if you wish.

Best regards,
Richard
