[Global] Dose Tracking - Process and Level

Sequoyah (SQN) tracks dose with HIS20. Every 10 minutes, a process looks for new Work Orders in Maximo to add as RWP work steps in HIS20. RWPs are assigned to WOs in the Maximo Permits section, which is how the process knows which RWP work steps to add. Some WOs exist on multiple RWPs.

We track dose based on Work Order, not sub-steps within the Work Order.

Dose estimates are assigned in Maximo in the Permits section. The Maximo estimate does NOT export to HIS20. The Maximo estimate does export to P6.

For certain jobs/tasks, we create “dose tracking WOs” in Maximo. These are only used for logging into the RCA and tracking dose. They are not bound by administrative requirements and don’t affect anything procedurally. We find this is especially helpful for RP, Radcon Laborers, and Ops because they frequently enter the RCA to support multiple activities.

   I am inquiring as to your sites level of dose tracking and what process you use (software.. )

    What level do you track dose to? With in a work order level or step within the work order.

    Currently Wolf Creek utilizes Empac client but will be transitioning to Maximo.  We have been moving into assigning dose goal within the work order (using permits section) to each step, Feeding P6 schedule tool.
