At Davis-Besse, we are procedurally required to mark / label tools if they are >5,000 ncpm fixed and any detectable loose contamination. Any tools with loose contamination are required to be segregated and may be used only in a contaminated area.

Subject: [External] [Global] Labeling of RCA tools - quick question

Hi! Hope all is going well.

Quick question:

Do you still mark or label RCA tools with purple paint, labels or some other designation if they are < 5,000 ncpm fixed or < 1,000 dpm/100 cm^2?

Have a great Labor Day Weekend. Thanks in advance for the replies.
