[Global] Pool Vacuum Question

4 loop PWR, single unit 1200 MW(e) with SFP.

What is the manufacturer of water vacuum systems that you use at your site? - Installed FSPCUS and RFPCUS are original Westinghouse design; portable units are Tri-Nuc.

How many and what sizes do you have in each of your pools during an outage? - FSPCUS and RFPCUS are continuously run (filtration/demineralizer). We have a twin-filter Tri-Nuc unit as shown in the Refuel Pool for targeted clean-up during the outage, with a surface skimmer running (I'll have to dig up the gpm capacity). We have a smaller Tri-Nuc unit in the FSP for other clean-up work (mostly dry fuel store campaign related). Filter Transfer Shield now used for filter handling into shielded drum.

Do you use mobile vacuum system demineralizer beds within your Refuel/Spent Fuel pools? N - installed FSPCUS and RFPCUS demins operating continuously only. Mobile systems are filtration only.

Who at your site is responsible for the maintenance, deployment and use of the vacuum equipment? Maintenance, deployment and use - Operations Logistics (site Fuel Route) team, with use by the contract Framatome refuel team. RP/Decon support deployment, removal and maintenance.
