[Global] [EXTERNAL] ALARA committee on Post Job Reviews - Wolf Creek Benchmark

Our ALARA Committee does not review post job reviews. We provide a means (PowerBI) to track major jobs on a screen in the OCC in near real time, and try to direct questions about dose to the miscreants directly involved (Dose Ownership). What that sometimes means is we call the Implementation Mgr or supervisor involved and tell them what we would say if we were them, but many of them are on top of the work enough to speak to it without prompting.

The only routine involvement of the ALARA Committee is as outlined below.

If a major job appears to be heading south management is notified and engaged in time to intervene. With their approval the estimate is revised if necessary.

Do you require your ALARA committee to review and approve any of the Post Job Reviews that are performed on RWP's?
      If yes can you explain the triggers for that?

EXAMPLE:  All RWP's that have post job reviews are reviewed by the ALARA Committee.... RWP's > 3 REM will have their post job reviews reviewed and approved by the ALARA committee...

NOTE:  At Wolf Creek we require the ALARA committee to review and approve our post job reviews that we perform on RWP's > 3REM.
