To the Members of the RP-ALARA Association,

The RP-ALARA Steering Board is preparing for our 2024 Winter Meeting that will be in Key West Florida on January 22nd through January 24th,2024 at the Marriott Key West Beachside Hotel.  Whether you are a longstanding attendee of the RP/ALARA Association meetings or a first time attendee, it is the Board's sincere hope that you will join us this January.
The RP- ALARA Association Conference is designed to facilitate the open sharing of industry knowledge through Operational Experience. The Association continually evaluates industry products and services with exposure impacts and its members share experiences in areas such as shutdown chemistry, operating chemistry, chemical decon, zinc injections, micro filtration, and mechanical decon equipment to effectively manage our individual utility resources.
At this meeting, you will find hear and share industry best practices for site dose ownership compare and contrast dose reduction strategies utilized at represented utilities, obtain new ideas in regards to motivating and recognizing the work force to reduce overall site exposure.
The Conference provides a face to face interface with other RP-ALARA members in order to establish industry contacts, share knowledge and gain strategies which will help further reduce exposures at your facility.
The meeting agenda is being created and speakers are being sought. If you have a topic that you would like to share with the group please let me know so we can get it added to the agenda.
If you plan to attend the Winter Meeting please register on the RP-ALARA Website. I have also included the information to aid you in making your Hotel reservations.
