DCPP maintains a strong working relationship with the IT department.

  *   Dose Reporting Database
     *   IT department created our automated POD daily dose report.  This allows our estimates to float with the scheduled.  Work groups report in to RP when they are performing new, or unscheduled, work that we can then input into the database.  Non-deviations and deviations to estimated-actual dose are flagged green/yellow/red and are discussed daily.  The IT group manages the back end of the dose report database.
  *   Sentinel Program Administration:
     *   Our IT & Business Applications group manages the back end to Sentinel administration.
     *   They will address any programming related maintenance or issues we encounter.
  *   RP Engineering:
     *   DCPP assigns coordination/RP management of Sentinel processes to an Engineer.  Normally, it is this individual who fields questions/concerns from the station to the Sentinel administrators (Business App/IT).

  At the winter meeting discussions we touched on this subject a time or two.  Whom out there utilizes an IT based person within or strongly connected to the RP department?

    What items do you have or would you have this person address?

     I am evaluating this idea for improvements in " Maximo\alfresco integration, enhancing VSDS and streamlining our internal records and processes to include the onboarding of sentinel.  This person would approach applications from an RP perspective.

What are your thoughts?
