Hello all!!!

I have been given a request to assess how other plants in the industry resolves issues with hot spots that are found while performing routine surveys. What methods do you employ? At Salem we will attempt flushing if that is feasible or shield the hot spots if there will be significant work being performed in that area. Do you have a hot spot tracker that you use for them? Do you mark them in any special way to allow the workers in the area to readily identify the hot spot?

Your response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
