divers solely. Contamination control, dose, and heat stress were the main drivers. For this work we install a physical barrier to prevent divers from getting to the fuel. We can perform these PMs for a fraction of the dose now with really no contamination

I am reaching out to see if anyone has any OE regarding the use of coffer dams and/or divers to perform work in the SFP. At Seabrook, we are debating whether to use divers or a coffer dam for repairs on our SFP gate. One of the questions
being asked is what is the minimum allowable distance to the fuel that needs to be maintained, as reactor engineering is looking to move fuel to ensure proper distances can be maintained. If anyone happens to have any experience or material, please let me
know. It is greatly appreciated.
