<p class="MsoNormal">North Anna RP did convince Operations to change the performance of a 31 day PT to check position of containment isolation valves to a 180 day frequency. Minimal impact to RP, except when entering the overhead areas. It did save about
50 mrem in online exposure per year.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We also changed survey frequency for routine surveys, stopped surveying LHRAs routinely and survey upon entry when required for access. Daily surveys changed to weekly; weekly changed to monthly; monthly changed to quarterly.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">HP hand held instruments’ response checks changed from daily to weekly. Also, portal monitors’ response checks were changed from daily to weekly<o:p></o:p></p>
