[Global] Boric Acid Leak Walk Downs

Good morning All!!!

I am looking for information / process on how your site / fleet performs BACC walk downs.


1)       Is there a frequency in which Engineering performs this?

2)       Do they take someone from the FIN team or Mechanical with them to perform any cleaning?

3)      How are components identified for future walk downs?  Flagging, located on drawings, etc.

4)      Are there markings in your Containment (or Drywell) that help to readily identify the area to be inspected?  Such as an azimuth painted on the outer wall or other markings.

5)      How do you ensure these inspections are performed ALARA?

Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
