[Global] RW and Filter Questions

Salem is looking to determine how other sites are handling the following regarding disposal:


1.       Do you accrue a specific amount of money each time a filter is changed out?

2.       If so, what is that amount of money?

3.       When you ship filters, do you send to processor and have shredded and them ship for burial?

4.       If not, how do you ship them?  How do you classify for shipment?

5.       How do you ship tri-nuke filters? Do you take core samples? Do you use dose to curie for classification?  How do you place into the liner?

6.       Any other information that you have would be greatly appreciated.
