Davis-Besse is doing a respiratory protection program benchmark of the industry of common tasks and timeframe of requirements. Any response would be appreciated

1)      Site: Salem

2)      Respiratory Training Requalification Period (i.e. how long do you accept initial training before requiring a requalification or refresher training) exactly one year

3)      Fit Test:

a.       Are Fit Test expiration dates

                                                               i.      Set exactly 1 year later to the date

OR

                                                             ii.      Set to the 1 year later at the end of the month as allowed by Reg Guide 8.15 Yes

b.       Are there any extra pre-cautions being taken during COVID-19 Times (e.g. Limiting to one fit test at a time) yes

4)      Medical:

a.       Are expiration Dates set exactly by the date or at end of the month as allowed by Reg Guide 8.15 end of month

b.       Do you allow physicals to go beyond the standard 1 year as allowed by Z88.6? No

                                                               i.      IF so do you require any intermediary documentation (i.e. if a worker is good for 2 years do you require a questionnaire each year)

5)      Would you like results of Benchmark? sure
