[Global] Dose Tracking Info

At Sequoyah, we still use the FIN category. We recategorize personnel from FIN to Mechanical, I&C, etc as necessary.

We primarily track dose by Work Order, rather than department. The Work Orders are typically owned by a single department, which negates the need to frequently recategorize people. This is helpful in tracking job exposure when cross-departmental support is required.

Thanks,

Hello all, I am seeking some information about dose tracking and those sites that use Sentinel. How does the sites handle dose tracking with resources that can be shared between departments? Such as using FIN resources for IE or Maintenance work. Does the ALARA techs/site often change craft codes on these workers that are pulled so that estimates will match up with certain groups they originally estimated for? (example. FIN resource used and picks up 5 mrem but estimate was for Mechanical Maintenance).
