[Global] Annual Dose Budgeting for FIN (Fix It Now) Dept.

At Surry, I eliminated budget creation for the FIN team. Too often they were either way over or way under budget. This was due to the way Surry would use the FIN team resources. Also, the frequency of moving personnel in and out of the team created a situation where the dose could be incorrectly placed on the wrong department. A major emergent job could come up and they might use FIN or they might use Mech Maint. Just depended on resources at the time.
Now I just assign any FIN team dose to their respective departments. It all comes out in the wash. Their historical dose was typically <300 mr/yr anyway. Sometimes <100.

Davis Besse is requesting feedback from the Industry regards to budgeting an annual dose for FIN.

FIN supports emergent work and or tool pouch work for work activities that are not complex or require dept. resources from other depts.

We understand FINs annual dose trend and average dose over a time period, however, how do plants who have a FIN team budget an annual dept. dose budget?
